ENTOURAGE/NONTOURAGE/LIGHTS OUT... HERE THEY ARE!!!!

After countless months of speculation, rumor and intrigue, the shoe with many nicknames (we’ve heard “Untourage,” though the general consensus among the sneakerhead population appears to have settled on “Nontourage”) has finally started to appear at Nike SB retailers. While some shops have already watched the shoe fly off their shelves, others have held off the drop date, waiting for this Saturday to release them into the wild. Sure there’s the distant connection to the late HBO series Entourage, but it’s likely the stellar design — featuring the classic black suede and gum rubber combo, with a subtle elephant print — that has sneaker enthusiasts waiting in line.

Dubstep producer Benga drops off the visuals for his latest music video for “I Will Never Change.” Directed by Us, the stop motion-esque video employs the use of 960 pieces of vinyl to create a straightforward and creative way to let the music speak for itself and create a mirrored image of the digital waveform. “I Will Never Change” also serves as an official teaser for Benga’s forthcoming album Chapter 2.

HEAVENS GATE DUNK HIGH SAMPLE:

Back in 1997, a small, California-based cult called Heaven’s Gate committed a mass suicide after its leaders convinced the 38 member to do so. Nike decided to produce a pair of Dunk High SB’s inspired by the tragedy, but due to a fear of bad publicity, the idea was scraped. So at this point, these remain just a sample. They feature a predominantly black upper constructed from leather and suede, along with purple accents on the tongue, lacing tabs, and ankle area.

JASON VOORHEES DUNK LOW SAMPLE:

In 2007, Nike SB released a collection sneaker taking inspiration from 1980's slasher flicks known as the Horror Pack. Included in the pack was the Nike SB Dunk Low "Freddy Krueger", which never officially released.
